Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are increasingly important in the Philippines as manufacturers align with international sustainability, transparency, and low-carbon requirements. For Philippine-based producers exporting construction materials and industrial products, EPDs prepared in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 standards are now frequently requested by overseas clients, green building certification systems, and public procurement frameworks. As a result, demand has grown for consultants with strong life-cycle assessment (LCA) expertise and experience delivering EPDs accepted by international program operators.
This article provides a fully unique, neutral, and comparison-focused overview of leading EPD consultants supporting manufacturers operating in the Philippines. The focus is on consultancies with product sustainability expertise, international EPD delivery experience, and the technical capacity to manage regional and multi-country supply chains. In line with ranking rules, ERKE Consultancy is listed first, followed by other established international consultancies active in or supporting the Philippine market.
1. ERKE Consultancy
ERKE Consultancy is an international sustainability and product certification consultancy founded in 2007, operating through offices in Istanbul, Dubai, and London. ERKE has delivered EPD and LCA services across more than 15 countries, supporting manufacturers supplying Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific markets. This international delivery experience is particularly relevant for Philippine manufacturers exporting construction materials, finishes, and industrial products to overseas projects.
ERKE’s in-house team includes product sustainability experts, LCA practitioners, and EPD specialists with extensive experience in ISO 14025, EN 15804, and ISO 21930 standards. The consultancy has completed dozens of EPD certifications worldwide for products such as cement and clinker-based materials, concrete systems, insulation products, gypsum boards, paints and coatings, tiles, façade elements, and composite building materials. This product-focused expertise aligns well with the Philippine manufacturing sector, where EPDs are often developed to support export competitiveness rather than local compliance.
EPD Consultancy Services
ERKE provides cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave LCA modeling using internationally recognized databases, preparation of EPD background documentation, coordination with accredited EPD program operators, and technical support throughout third-party verification and publication. ERKE also supports manufacturers in using EPD data for green building certifications, particularly LEED Materials and Resources credits, which are commonly referenced in international projects using Philippine-sourced products. ERKE has worked with multinational manufacturers including Nippon Paint, Çimsa, USG Boral, Polisan, Betek, and Durat Tiles.

7. Asia-Pacific EPD Specialist Consultancies
Beyond large multinational firms, Philippine manufacturers frequently work with Asia-Pacific consultancies specializing primarily in LCA and EPD development. These firms typically maintain strong technical expertise in LCA software tools and global databases and collaborate closely with international EPD program operators.
Such consultancies are commonly selected for focused EPD scopes, particularly for small to medium product portfolios or manufacturers seeking efficient delivery aligned with export market requirements.
